This has been an extremely frustrating process. All of the admits and then a lot of silence, it started to make me give up hope.
However, after searching various forums I have not been able to find one person accepted to my major, Gerontology. I know it is one of the less applied to majors.
Gerontology is in the School of Social Work which is in the College of Health and Human Services. Nursing is in the College of Health and Human Services too, and obviously they have released decisions. However, in the School of social Work, which encompasses the Gerontology, Social Work and International Opportunities majors, I have not been able to find an acceptance yet. I’m hoping that possibly they haven’t released for that major or “school” yet and that is why I have not heard anything. Just an optimistic guess.
Or the people accepted to that major or “school” don’t post in these forums?
@DRDEXTER My major is also in the school of human services and my status is still pending. Only one person who is out of state has heard back from my major. Maybe they haven’t released the school of human services yet

Guys, I got some good news, due to the Virus outbreak the office of admission has been slowing down sending notifications to applicants because they were trying to release some info about the cancellation of tours, etc. They told me they should release all decisions hopefully by this Friday, continuing on to Monday

Where did you find this information? I haven’t received an email, my portal says nothing and I checked online on their admissions site. I found nothing.
I had to physically call them, I told them why admission was taking inconsiderately longer than usual? … seem kinda sus after reading threads from pass years
thanks everyone for responding with last alpha… but based on my experience with my older son - the last people notified tended to receive unfortunate news;(
