I live and work near Seattle, and I am still surprised that there are things to do that I have not done yet, and we love to “play tourists” with our visitors. 
Well, my boyfriend of ten months broke up with me four days before the trip and a week before my birthday! I am very devastated. Thanks for everyone’s suggestions even though they will not come to fruition.
