<p>The UGA team had to play a “double-header” yesterday due to the storm, something that is extremely rare in basketball. They just won their 4th game in 3 days, earning a spot in the NCAA tournament.</p>

<p>Be sure you see the Aquarium, WashDad. We were in Hotlanta for Easter - an impressive number of broken windows, most of the other damage had been cleared, and they were working feverishly on the GWCC. Lots of fun stuff to do in Atlanta.</p>

<p>Thought I’d revive this thread with an update, since Washdad is here in town this weekend for the FIRST robotics tournament.
I happened to have to go downtown yesterday and today for meetings. Thinkgs are remarkably well cleaned up. Stills ee lots of boarded up windows/storefronts, some interesting masking tape-like patterns in windows high up in some of the hotels/office bldgs, and lots of windows still out in the Omni hotel. One ore 2 roads around the olympic park are blocked, but everything was remarkably smoothe. Good luck to Washdad’s kiddo in the tournament. The weather is PERFECT today, btw.</p>
