Secret in the Source Code?

IWillGetIn - I applied for pre-Biology. You?

Biology and Alternate as Pharmacology!
do you think they even take alternate majors into consideration?

IWillGetIn - I don’t know! I wouldn’t think it would be as important.

Mmmmom, when you were looking at the ‘admitted’ part, were you looking at this?:

…/set_context.asp?context=admitted_freshmen&destination=admitted/index.asp" onmouseover=“swap(‘3rd’, ‘Image3_Rollover’ ); return true” onmouseout=“swap(‘3rd’,‘Image3’); return true” onfocus=“swap(‘3rd’, ‘Image3_Rollover’ ); return true” onblur=“swap(‘3rd’,‘Image3’); return true”><img name=“3rd” src=“http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/images/header_mainnavAdmittedStudents.gif” width=“148” height=“23” name=“menu2” id=“menu2” alt=“Admitted Students”

… because that’s shown on the main page already, at the top. The only thing that’s not showing for me is that Waitlist button. Hm.

Mine says waitlist as well…does anyone’s not have it?

I know what you’re talking about, but no, it was something different in the coding. But even if you have the waitlist button in your source code, I wouldn’t worry too much because, like I said, my daughter has that but has already been admitted. They may just be preparing the site for tomorrow and haven’t gotten to everyone’s profile yet.

Mmmmom - Fair enough! Thanks for your help.

TheShow - I think everybody has it for now. We’ll have to see.

No problem! Good luck to you all!

How exactly do you do this? hahaa

Nvm I figured it out and this it definitely does not mean anything because I have admitted student and waitlist and transfer and all of those others. UCSB is practically a safety for me and I highly doubt I’d get wait listed(not trying to sound cocky I swear!) BUT THIS DOESN’T MEAN ANYTHING GUYS CALM DOWN  Good luck!

Does anyone know exactly what time admissions are supposed to be posted? As in at exactly midnight tonight or sometime in the morning tomorrow?

3:00 pm pst

They won’t write separate code for everyone. There’ll be options for everything is my guess and then only if they put in “true” will it go to that part and execute, but you won’t know what they put in.
