<p>Interesting, that was my post when I first arrived in my house. I’ve graduated a few years, so I have no idea if the dynamic I noted is still true. At the time, there was racial segregation for the issues I explained (mainly the alcohol culture). It’s possibly not the same since there was a new dean of students my senior year who clamped down on underage drinking. As a note, my closest friend from college is not Asian (I’m Asian myself) and also was in a different house.</p>
<p>By the way, my views are extreme on the conservative side. Before I showed up to Tech, I expected there to be minimal alcohol consumption so I was pretty shocked to see people playing beer pong. Now that I’ve lived in the real world a few years, I feel that I may have been overly critical… I would revise most of my posts if I could today.</p>
