<p>However, if an AP is offered at school and you simply choose to instead take the online course, it doesn’t fare quite as well. It really is in your best interest to take a rigorous courseload and get good grades- to colleges, taking AP classes and getting good grades in them is more impressive than simply mastering AP material.</p>
<p>Either way, self-studying is beneficial, but still try to take advantage of opportunites to take AP courses at school.</p>
