Sell me Yale

I think that Yale has a lot of good aspects that make it an excellent school. It’s tough to pinpoint a specific thing, but from what I’ve heard, all students are amazed at the overall energy of the students on campus. They’re all extremely happy to be at Yale and have immense pride for the school, while also being extremely passionate about the things they do. It’s just a great mix of people, with a unique residential college system (unique in the sense that it’s so organized and at the very heart of what Yale is as a school. You often hear alumni talk about how, when meeting other people from Yale, the first question they ask each other is “what college were you in?”) and a bunch of other little great things. I don’t know how better to phrase this.

I think there’s no hurt in applying to Yale, and I’m sure that someone who got into Stanford is definitely qualified to get into Yale as well. The only regret you’ll have in April is putting yourself in a place where you’ll have to choose between two great colleges.

Best of luck to you. :)
