<p>anyone can join semper fi society, but they must participate in at least one event a month to stay an active member. this has been a challenge this year, especially for plebes because alot of funding and support from the administration was taken away. most of semper fi society’s events are on saturday mornings and plebes are not allowed to miss saturday morning training.</p>
<p>as far as it helping you for service selection, im sure it looks good that you have shown interest in the marine corps. you also get to know marine officers through the club, which helps during service selection, but it is by no means a requirement that you are in the club to get chosen for marine corps</p>
