Senior Grades :[

I have a vague recollection (some other poster should confirm) that in previous years USC sent out a letter asking certain students (not all) to submit 1st semester grades. I believe they might be considered the almost accepted students, and strong grades could make a difference. For those who did not get that letter, they could still submit their grades as well, which is what that status update mentions. For a student who really improves greatly first semester senior year, this might bring more positive attention to their application.

What I don’t recall (sorry) is if they requested grades for their strongest candidates (who had not received early letters of acceptance). Anyone remember? And no–if a student has already been accepted, they do NOT have to submit 1st semester grades.

OTOH, all admitted students will need to submit their senior year grades. If there is some horrible disaster, their admission can and will be rescinded.
