Hi Kevin! It’s awesome that you goal is to explore rather than simply boosting resume. In this case I strongly recommend the Endevvr Summer Incubator. I went there in the summer 2014. Before starting the program, I had a ton of curiosity and little knowledge about entrepreneurship or what I wanted to work on. I got to try out new things, to challenge myself, to fail and iterate, with the support from fellow classmates, counselors and mentors (experienced entrepreneurs who came in to help us).
