we got a couple wonderful shots of our oldest for his hs senior pix… one shot is my favorite ever of him…I bought a lot of sizes…still have most of them in a box… now our HS just sent out a mailer…apparently a local photographer will donate to this year’s Project Graduation, the sitting fee for next year’s HS senior photos who commit with them NOW… interesting idea and certainly something I wouldn’t mind doing…except I now know better myself… I don’t need all those photos…

funny cause I just passed on my oldest son’s college photo…we chose one for the yearbook, but I am not buying any… after 4 yrs of tuition…and the price of the hotel for graduation… there is no money left for senior pictures etc etc… oh well…

Most of the photographers now present you with a limited-time-available CD montage of the proofs. We selected the ones we wanted but found that the finshed photos were not at all what the proofs looked like. Evidently the photographers fiddle with the digital files and then send them to the printer as RAW files. We spent big bucks and sent D’s pics back over and over. No, my D is not typically Texas tan-orexic. She has no yellow tones to her skin. I don’t care that it looks nice, it doesn’t look like my kid.
If you want to know names, PM me.
The kid who didn’t want to take pictures ended up with the nightmare studio (can you imagine the photographer saying "ummm, no, don’t leave your shoes, the owners dogs use that area…).

My daughter had a friend take her picture in a local park- it turned out really cute.
Of course she hasn’t given me a copy :(
