Why not get the digital files and print them at Walgreens?

D’s HS allowed any choice of studio or outfit (within reason, no hoochie stuff). The only requirement was size and they could send them in digitally. Maybe this was because D went to a HS with a fairly large low-income population and an expensive studio would have been out of reach for many of the kids. Since even a friend’s candid shot was allowed, it evened out the field. I’m glad that was the way it was done-we got some excellent shots, D had exactly what SHE wanted, and not the some clothing/pose that was not reflective of her at all.

LasMa, my son is a high school senior.

evitaperon - loved the candid shots. My son has a friend who is a budding photographer. I may ask her to take some shots around town, then consider Portrait Innovations to do just a formal head shot.

To all of the posters thanks for the great information.
