they’re a big deal at my school too. lol, i got 2 outfits and a yearbook session for free cuz i have a 4.0+ GPA (it pays to be smart ) anyways… i did mine awhile ago before i left and they turned out quite well. it’s the only picture i’m not as ugly as usual in so yayyy! but buying the pictures… man, it’s freakin’ expensive! $50 for a 5x7 photo. and i bought two.

Senior pictures were so fun! They are kinda pricey, though, as previously mentioned. The studio most of the people in my school go to (myself included) requires a minimum $300 purchase after you get ur pics…not including other expenses like the session fee, getting hair and nails done, etc. Where I went, they provided a drape and “tux” (not a full suit, it just looks like it in the pictures)…I don’t think you have to bring your own.

The entry-level package was already triple digits. I did not purchase a package.

I was very surprised as to how nicely the poses turned out, though.

Argh, I’m not looking foward to getting my senior portrait taken.

That’s because I’ll know for sure that I REALLY REALLY AM A SENIOR (gasp!) when I get my appointment slip from Jostens in the mail. ><

Yar, they’re mandatory at school, but you don’t have to buy a package… although the packages are really nice. Girls have to wear this weird top that looks like an evening gown but isn’t… it’s really weird. Then one with the cap and gown, plus NHS sash

Crazy stuff, Senior year… I’m going to go broke before I even get to college!

i hate wearing a tux, and i won’t when my picture is taken

I’m only taking one for the year book, because I see no point in one other then the yearbook.

Formal shirt and tie for guys, drape for girls, and they’re apparently making that mandatory.
