Blew this test (at least I feel that way)! All is not lost, however, since I FINALLY received my typing accommodation for the essay section (plus 2x time writing for the essay) and will be taking the test again in October (or in early November since I have a 3 week window to schedule the exact date and time). I think I’ll do much better on that one since I’ll be able to type my essay, be in a solo testing environment (or in a small group), and can pick the day and time (so I’ll be better rested). For some reason I can’t horribly anxious on the standardized tests when in a group setting (not for normal tests, and I wonder why?". But when I take them solo, which has happened for my SAT test and for all my AP tests, I don’t have any anxiety since I can talk to myself (quietly, of course) and calm my nerves.

So unless I did amazing on this ACT, I’ll keep that Oct date. But if I did amazing on the Sept one I’ll just cancel the Oct one since I really don’t want to take the test again.

Goal: 33-34
Expecting: No idea. I registered for the Oct. ACT just in case.

This was the first time I took the ACT, and October is my last chance (I’m a senior and I need this score for my early decision/action schools).

English and reading went well, but I’m a bit concerned about math and science. For math, I nearly ran out of time, so I think I just filled in random bubbles for about four or five questions, so that can’t be good. And for science, I just think I need more practice with the pacing.

No prep, though. I’m definitely going to do a lot more practice for October.

ahhh I’m scared. Praying that the scores are good enough that I don’t need to retake… but I feel that I probably will have to to be in the ‘safe’ range (33-35). good luck everybody!

Praying for a 32+, like PLEASE GIVE ME A 32 so I can be do with the ACT. But most likely my parents will make me take it again in October no matter what…
