is the wikipedia conversion chart right?

Wow, three 36s within seconds of each other?

@jack - it’s weighted slightly high on the wikipedia chart. 2340 for 35 should be the middle range, not the low point.

This is CC we r talking about.

Sad…

Jealous of all the 35s and 36s.

The 34 here is applying to Yale, Harvard, Princeton, Dartmouth, WashU, Vanderbilt, Rice, Emory, and a few others (including a few selective liberal arts colleges).

Yeah, but no 36s in the last 5 or so pages before these 3. That’s just why I was surprised.

is a 26 a little better than 1120-1770 and 1160-1730 SAT???

@Jack - consider a 26 a 1170–1200/1600.

Okay… I overestimated my first 2 SAT’s and my first ACT and was then bitterly dissapointed. This time I thought I had a 32 at BEST because I had to guess on 3 science questions (I know I got them all wrong) and I was expecting no higher than 33 in E/M/R.

E: 35 (curve must have been +1 because I know I missed 2)
M: 34 (have NEVER gotten above a 32 on a practice test)
R: 33 (what I expected, same as last time)
S: 32 (***?? I was so sure I had like a 26 or lower, I love life!!!)

Essay: 10 (I’m bringing it up one point at a time between SAT/ACT from 7 to 8 to 9 to 10)

Combined English/Writing: 33

This is the best day of my life, the first time I have ever caught a break in standardized testing. I’m taking the SAT in October and I studied like 10x more for that than the ACT so 2400 here I ****ing come.

Anyway, I’m going to bed. Try to get some sleep everybody!

@everlasting okay thanks so its a bit of an improvement

No a 26 is like a 1700-1750 ish. Cause I kno a 27 is a 1820

I hope you guys are satisfied with your scores
.

Anybody else not have the essay score up?

Arghh! Only went up by 1. It’s all reading’s fault. So frustrated!! >.<
E: 30 yay improvement
M: 32 Eh.
S: 29 improved
R: 26 TT.TT epic fail…

Oct. ACTs, here I come again…
I’m going to try EA (Nov.), do you guys think that it’s alright and not too late to take the Oct. ACTs??

Edit: @Linger No, i don’t have mine up yet. It’ll probably bring my score lower…

How do u determine the superscore

@Kathiee - Take your highest scores, add them up, divide by 4. Be aware most colleges don’t superscore.

English - 34
Math - 35
Reading - 34
Science - 33

C - 34

-_- I thought I had gotten a 35.

Do u have to show all the act tests that u took to colleges
