really really happy. I botched the math, but i got a 33 on it the last time i took so thats a 34 super score. super pumped right now.

^ Nice, a 36 in Reading. What answer did you put for the question about the wind speed measuring instrument in the Wright Bros. Passage: Prideful, Reliant, Worried or something else?

I second that question ACTTester, hope I got it right…

I third that question lol

I got

30- comp
34- math
32 reading
29- English
24- Science

I was tired after all of those other tests, so I didn’t even finish science.

yah i remember there being a lot of talk on the board about the question. I said he was prideful and i was almost 100% i was right.

^ do you remember what you put for the mass/water question on science?

so wait. you put “prideful” and got a 36?! Lets GO!

oh good, I put prideful  I really hope I get a 36 on reading (haha that way it might balance out my horrible math score xD)

what was the mass/water question? because the only distinctly peculiar question i remember on the science was the mesh bag one.

im so happy right now lol

it was the question about the purpose of the mesh beg. i think it was whether to let out air and water out, or to let mass out i believe.

yah i said to let water and air in and out, but that could easily have been the question i got wrong.

Yeah i was just thinking that. I also put the water and air.

So science was -1=35 and -2=33? (possibly -2=34, -3=33)
Reading was -1=35 and -2=34? agh, no +1…
English was -2=33?! I have a hard time believing this…
Math: normal sounds rights

-2 for English could be 33 or could not. ACTTESTER inferred this from the subscores, which are themselves curved. So we don’t know for sure if -2 is a 33.

I thought English was easy, but not THAT easy. Yes, I suppose its still very difficult to interpret curved subscores. That could also mean that the reading social/science was just harder than the others. SO in actuality, we really cant make any inferences except that science actually has a 35 and math looks pretty normal…

GAH. Well this sucks. My composite is going to come out a 28 or something really pitiful like that. I had a 31 last time, and was desperately hoping for something higher, but with the way the curve is looking… :(

For those that got their scores because they did not take the writing…what schools accept the ACT without writing? I thought most schools require you to take the ACT with writing?

ima act noob, when do i pay my standby fee?
