OP, that’s not anecessarily academic weakness. That’s a common sense weakness.
You already got SAT 1600 and C35. Why would you even bother taking the ACT again?
I can see maybe going for C36 for bragging rights.
But if you really think any college in the universe is going to reject you because you “only” got C35, something is wrong with your judgment.
You’re totally fine.

If mine is still at registered do you guys think that I won’t be getting my scores tomorrow?
“Tested”
Before these scores get posted and my son has a heart attack, can anyone clarify how Writing will be scored?
Will they be using a 1-12 score or a 1-36 score? I know they have been going back and forth.
Any clarity would be helpful.
ETA: I did the work and looked it up myself. From the ACT website…
Remember that your scores for the four individual domains—ideas and analysis, development and support, organization, and language use and conventions—will be communicated on a scale of 2–12. These domain scores are derived by adding together the individual scores, on a 1–6 scale, from each of two readers.
@STEM2017 The writing will be out of 36. It was out of 12, but last September they changed it to 1-36. However, the writing score will not be released till at least another week.
@Wisconsinite99 I’m pretty sure they reverted back to 2-12 scoring. From their website…
Writing Test Scores
Taking the ACT with writing will provide you and the schools to which you have ACT report scores with additional scores. You will receive a total of five scores for this test: a single subject-level writing score reported on a range of 2-12, and four domain scores, also 2-12, that are based on an analytic scoring rubric. The subject-level score will be the rounded average of the four domain scores. The four domain scores are: Ideas and Analysis, Development and Support, Organization, and Language Use and Conventions. An image of your essay will be available to your high school and the colleges to which you have ACT report your scores from that test date.
Taking the writing test does not affect your subject area scores or your Composite score. However, without a writing test score, no English Language Arts (ELA) score will be reported.
Your essay will be evaluated based on the evidence that it provides of your ability to:
clearly state your own perspective on the issue and analyze the relationship between your perspective and at least one other perspective
develop and support your ideas with reasoning and examples
organize your ideas clearly and logically
communicate your ideas effectively in standard written English
Two trained readers will score your essay on a scale of 1-6 in each of the four writing domains. Each domain score represents the sum of the two readers’ scores. If the readers’ ratings disagree by more than one point, a third reader will evaluate the essay and resolve the discrepancy.

@amazondotmom @auntyji @STEM2017 do you know if the status doesn’t change to tested, does it mean I won’t get my scores tomorrow?
@HenryFeddersen I don’t know. Sorry.
For international students does it always come out late? When would the next batch be released?
Tested. And for those who have “registered” status, it can still change to “tested” by tomorrow.

@STEM2017 Subscores on the essay are out of 12, but the overall writing score is out of 36. At least it was like that when I took it last time in June.
@Penguin007 so even if now I’m still “registered”, I can still get scores tomorrow?
