E- 35
M- 35
R- 28
S- 33
C- 33
Will the R 28 be a red flag? I ran out of time and had to guess on a few so I’m not surprised, but would it be an issue for colleges? I’m really excited about the composite of 33, though!

Did anyone in Florida have a really low science score? My d got 30-34 on all sections and then a 22 on science. She got a 30 last time. Just thinking she had a bubbling error since she thought science section was pretty easy!
@mtsnider99 I’m from New York but I had a very similar situation. I thought science was the easiest section and was confident I would get at least a 32 but I ended up with a 28. I thought it would be my best sub score but ended up being my lowest. However, I’ve seen many people who got 35,34,33,31,30 and 29 which means that I would have at least got 7 wrong which seams impossible to me. I’m considering having it marked by hand.
WRT accommodation score release date - at least here:
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/discussion/comment/19255005/#Comment_19255005
it was posted that they’re typically released on the same date as everyone else.
How should I prepare if I want to take it again? I didn’t study but got a 32 composite. E: 30, M:29 (Used a TI-34), R:34, S: 35
I’d like to get a 34 because that would be pretty fun to do. Maybe a 36 is doable but with my starting point I assume that would be a lot of work. Thanks for the help.
@Blmom1 I used 5 free practice tests relased by act and prep scholar’s advice on how to get a 36. (Got a 36 C 36e 35m 36r 35s)
@Blmom1 just to clarify I didnt buy anything from prep scholar, i used their free blog.
Thanks @snowfairy137
from Paramus New Jersey - have not received my scores yet. There was a problem last year with my account, but the ACT folks swear they fixed it. I need to know if anyone else in NJ - near or in Paramus received their scores.
Thanks boss
Can anyone tell me which is a better score: 33C (superscores to a 34) or a 1470 on the SAT. Just need to know if I should report both the ACT and SAT, or just the ACT. TIA!
@DOTexe : a 33 is definitely better.
I chatted with a representative from ACT via computer today. She told me that scores are released randomly by the computer in batches on Monday’s, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I confirmed that having not received them this morning I should check again tomm. She said yes although she had no way of knowing if tomm will be the date my D will get her scores.
I got 35 composite, M-34, E-36, W-35, S-33
Wrote 2 times, got the same C35, is this a good score to go to Ivy League ?
@elise303 I live in New Jersey and I got my scores yesterday.
Did anyone receive any email notification that their scores were available?
For those of us that haven’t gotten our scores yet - can we just wait for the email? I’d rather not check constantly…
@Mimic17 No, a 35 is awful. You will be luck to get into a community college…
Is a really low score on science compared to the other scores something to be aware of / a red flag? I’m nervous colleges will think something is suspicious.
@GMKoon what testing center were you at? idk if that’s allowed to be answered sorry if it’s not, not to be super creepy I’m a NYer too and the same thing is happening to me!!!
@CA1543 was it sleepy hollow? I took mine there and still registered
