Still registered…

What time does it change to tested?

It usually only changes to tested an hour or two before your test score is released.

@parent8768 - Thanks, that gives me hope!

Still registered

At what time will the scores get released tomorrow? At 12 am or 8 am Central Time? I’m so confused.

^^next release is 8am CST Friday according to ACT’s Twitter feed

ACT always says “before 8am”, but practically speaking it seems to be midnight CST, i.e. 1am EST and 10pm PST.

@thshadow - correction ACT says BY 8am

Yes, “by” 8am means “at or before 8am”. As far as I know, it’s always actually midnight.

People were saying the exact same thing about it just this past Tuesday - the twitter said “by 8am Tuesday morning” or whatever it said. And then they were released at midnight. After people posted “all other score releases have always been at midnight.”

@SoCalCoastal @thshadow you guys forgot about the website maintenace… I believe it’s until 5 am!

No one on tested yet?

@universeittea nope

@HopefulKid17 ACT said on 10AM Friday Central Time.

Of course, not all unreleased scores will come out at this time, just the ones meant for Friday.

According to one ACT representative via call, a test taker is “Tested” once his/her test is scanned into the ACT system. ACT will then release scores for those test takers on the closest release date. She also told me that, usually, tests are scanned on the same day the test scores are released. In fact, it would be almost instantaneous. This contradicts with my previous experience (June sitting) when my status was “Tested” for a few days before it was released. It leads me to think that that principle only applies when scores are scanned on a day after the first release date (or it’s completely wrong).

I am just finding this group…I live in NY and still have a status of registered. Past tests I remember seeing a “tested” status before waking to my scores the next day. However, based on above there does not seem to be one person who is seeing “tested” yet – is that correct? If so, maybe they discovered their glitch and it is no longer going to happen that way…let’s hope we all get the scores we are waiting for!

Okay not to be “that one person” but I’m super confused about my ACT scores. I did almost 2 practice tests a day for the 3 weeks leading up to the ACT. I was consistently scoring: E (35-36), M (31-35), R(33-35), S (34-36). The lowest I got in those three weeks was a 34 in science. And I mimicked test conditions as best I could. I took it at a desk, at exactly 8:30 on a Saturday morning, with the appropriate breaks and everything. And yet, when I got my scores it was a composite of 33 (the same thing I got back in April with definitely less effort) and my subscores were E:36, M:31, R:35, S:28?!!! I don’t see myself missing 7 questions wrong, especially since it was the one section I focused on the most. I knew my Science score needed the most improvement and yet I somehow did worse than when I first took the ACT in April (back when I barely tried). When I left the test, I personally thought I missed max 1 question. Maybe I just did horribly and can’t believe it, but I’m getting a rescore just to make sure.

I’m so freaking out right now… I didn’t have enough time for reading so I just did the science section really quickly to get back. I thought I did well because the section was easy… But now these posts about low science scores are scaring the heck out of me

^Moral of the story, don’t jump between sections. You’re lucky the proctor didn’t see you. He would have had your score disqualified.

If you are tested please say so. I am still registration status
