- You are probably a long shot anywhere. Most people i’ve met got at least a 2000 on the SAT. The better question is if YOU know anyone who got in with those scores.</p>

<li><p>I don’t think that Cornell is particularly good with international aid. Brown may be better, but they are equally hard to get in to. </p></li>
<li><p>Just because you worked really hard on your essays doesn’t mean that they are necessarily good or unique. You might want to get another person’s opinion on them, one way to do this is to show them to people on the College essays section of this forum. If that doesn’t offer you helpful enough feedback, you could make use of an essay editing service (there are hundreds of these out there, one that comes to mind as reputable is [Gurufi](<a href=“http://■■■■■■■■■■%5DGurufi%5B/url%5D”>http://■■■■■■■■■■)</a>).</p></li>
