<p>Really, if sexting is the worst things the kids are doing, then the parents should consider themselves lucky. Kids could be doing hard drugs (which aren’t that hard to find) or getting pregnant. A letter to parents from a principal will literally do nothing to stop anything the kids do. How many letters have school administrators sent out that warned kids against the dangers of drinking and driving, and how many kids do it anyway? </p>
<p>If they wanted to stop this, they would have to take away cell phones from all kids or confiscate them and search through them constantly. Both of these methods are unreasonable and impossible, so there’s not really much the school can do.</p>
