<p>While I won’t shop there until the sexual discrimination lawsuit is settled (and appropriate actions are taken), I do think this could be a good thing for the employees. In many parts of the country, this option is simply more convenient than trying to partner with a local community college. While I would love to see Wal-mart offer a traditional tuition reimbursement program, it is at least beginning to care about worker benefits. it may also increase employee retention and help with promoting within the ranks. Wal-Mart does do some things right when they commit on a large scale - just look at the green store initiatives.</p>
