Share your college's Holiday e-cards

I love looking at these and they usually have great pictures of the campus accompained by the college choir or orchestra! Here’s two, Kent State and Otterbein! I had trouble getting the sound to play on Kent’s but then, I’m still in the dark ages with dial up! :D

I have never heard of college holiday e cards…is this on their websites or a card they send out to families of the university?

Hey Sooz! I got the links in emails sent out to families and alums!

Here’s another one. This is Ashland College in Ohio. I have several friends that graduated from Ashland and they sent me the links.

Wow, those were great, I hope some more are posted!

A friend of mine has a son who attends University of Maryland (College Park) and she shared this with me. It’s a lot of fun and smile-inducing. Make sure to watch it through to the end:

NMR…That was so cute! Thanks for sharing. Happy Holidays to Everyone!!

I guess neither of my kids’ colleges or my alma mater send out e Holiday cards.

Guess what? I check email a few minutes ago and I had an e Holida card from S’s school. I’d post a link, but I don’t know how.

Yaaayyy - I got an e card from my alma mater - William and Mary

We had some major campus renovation this year, and wanted to share the news. (Our bookstore can beat up your bookstore! <g>)</g>

That’s cool, dramama! I guess TCU is joining the ranks of other schools with these amazing Barnes & Noble bookstores. They have one at Carnegie Mellon and Johns Hopkins, as well.

I guess as I get older I get more sentimental, I just LOVE these!

SRW, I’m with you! But you haven’t posted your’s yet! It’s easy, just bring up the page for your e-card, highlight the web address, right click on it and click “copy” then open a message box here and right click again and hit paste!

I’m glad so many people have enjoyed this thread! Let’s keep em coming!
Dramama, nice improvements! What a pretty campus! Ohio State has a huge B&N on campus too!

Carterra, also very pretty campus and loved the music!

Sigh, William & Mary was my dream school … wish I could have gone there. (Did not do so because I thought I would go on for a PhD in English lit to become a professor, so chose a much less expensive state school for BA and never ended up going on … oh, well. It was lovely seeing the holiday card … ) :)

NMR - I am so glad I went to W&M, but the University of North Carolina was my dream school. I couldn’t even apply since it was out of state. I had to “settle” for W&M because I lived in Virginia. I think it cost my parents $30.00 for my first semester - or that may have been for the year! This could be a lesson to the kids who don’t get into or can’t afford their “dream” school. I enjoyed every minute at W&M and it is still at the top of my list for places to visit whenever I get the chance.

I want to see more ecards!!

cartera45, I am still jealous. I LOVED W&M and think I would have thrived there. Of course, 'tis all in my imagination. But your lesson – that kids can end up happy and successful wherever they land – is definitely a worthwhile one, and I thank you for mentioning it.
