<p>My daughter took advantage of Bed, Bath, and Beyond. She ordered what she wanted locally (Pasadena, CA) and it was all ready for pick up in Utica when we arrived to take her to campus. Pretty easy. We also visited Staples and a lot of of stores nearby (in Utica, I mean) for essentials like a lamp, rug, etc. Kind of fun for an hour or two. Could do the same thing in Syracuse. Hamilton has some stores where you could pick up things, but it will be a much more limited selection. The various services are for those who don’t want to take the extra time and effort, but they’re useful services. Depends on how picky you are and how much time and effort you want to put into this. Some people couldnt’ care less about sheets and towels (me included!).</p>
