Shenandoah BFA Actiing vs UARTS BFA Musical Theater

@CCMTNEWBIE I think there were about 20 freshmen this year, but they don’t have as set a number as they do for MT (which I think is 24). There is also some movement in the programs, so at least one MT moved to Acting. I’d guess it’s harder from Acting to MT. That was something my daughter has thought about, but she happy with the program so she didn’t pursue it.

Even if it’s on the smaller side in terms of students, it’s a regular college campus with sports, clubs, organizations, I’m guessing a newspaper. Seems like a decent amount of activities each day - look at the calendar online. There’s TONS of music events, it being a conservatory. There’s also a Shakespeare and improv group, and many of the theatre kids help on the plays/musicals. I don’t know about weekend life, as my girl apparently plays D&D and goes to thrift shops (of which there are surprising many) with her friends, but she hasn’t been bored.
