Shortage of chem classes

They must be insane to deny you of that class. It is vital to your major… There will be an add drop period. Go to the chem secretary’s office during that period and beg for one. The instructor does not have the spns so do not ask for one, this is very characteristic of some of the science departments. I’m going to be honest the chances are very slim that you will get one from the chem department. Stalk webreg like ship said. My friend clicked register on a “Closed” course and it let him register for it (this was for O chem in the fall). You’ll come to find that Webreg is not the most perfectly coded site in the world.

Does anyone know how they determined who got a chem class and who didn’t?

it might be a first come first serve. However usually they will let Pharmacy and nursing get first priority if they somehow didn’t get in because they have a set curriculum for their majors.

Engineers have their own chem.

I got Chem but don’t see a lab associated with it. Should there be a separate lab class/lecture on my schedule?

The lab associated with General Chemistry is Intro to Experimentation. You have to sign up for this separately.

any luck with anyone ? did anyone get chem AFTER being placed on the waiting list yet?

I would honestly recommend you take that lab after you take the first semester. It was ridiculously easy if you had done well in the first semester of chem.

Has anyone heard back yet?

No not yet :(. Hbu?

Anyone hear back?
