you know the red headed kid with 30,000,000 youtube views???

Nah, the video I’m talking about has only 950 views.

“political views fall under diversity, not AA. Just like whatever else the college seeks.”

Exactly. But one of the challenges adcoms will face is that political identity is fluid, especially among 17-year-olds. It’s quite rare that young people adopt a different ethnic identity over the course of four years; somewhat more common that they adopt a new religious or sexual identity; yet utterly normal that they change their political identity. It’s still valuable to have people coming in the door with a range of experiences and starting points, of course. You just never know what you’ll end up with in the graduating class as a result.

I would think a true conservative wouldn’t take the advantage because of their beliefs, would be counter to what they believe i would guess. If someone doesn’t believe in a leg up for anyone, then they can’t take advantage themselves.

Speaking of which, my daughters asked me for money to start their own business cause someone suggested it. Let me go break open the ole Swiss piggy bank…

Closing political & AA thread.
