Just a caution with community college and top tier schools both being mentioned… Check carefully with the top tier schools she would like to attend to find the maximum community college credits she can earn while still be treated as a first year applicant. If she earns too many credits at community college, she may be treated as a transfer student instead.

The top colleges usually do not count the courses taken part-time when the student was matriculated in high school. But yes, it’s worth checking, too. Just in case.</p>
