wow this is crushing, i was high middle class last year my life just turned around last december when my dad lost his job before that my house income was well over 150k . 
i don’t really know what to do as of now. Would it really not help me if my aunt, who is an alumni, wrote me a letter of rec. Tbh entering into high school freshman year was an odd battle for me. My grandfather was suffering from cancer which is primarily the reason my grades dropped and when he passed away I was really finished. I did not want to include this in my application because first it is very difficult for me to talk about and second I do not want admissions to think I am trying to gain sympathy. I still do have an upward trend in high school and I never stopped challenging myself. I have 9 Honors classes and 3 AP ( we arent offered AP till junior year and our choices are limited). I fell in love with BU when I visited. I have a question if I get accepted early decision and am not able to afford the price they give me what would happen?
