Wellll CGS is not community college. Not at all. The quality of the programs is light years ahead of any CC. It’s more akin to going to a (pretty good) state school then transferring, which is guaranteed–in the end, you get a BU degree, not a CGS degree, so it all ends up the same in the end. That said, I WOULD NOT go into massive debt for BU (I give that advice to anyone–I love my alma mater, but my debt was minimal). You can apply and see what happens. The only way to get out of ED is if you absolutely 100% cannot afford it. I’m not sure how that process works, but I do know finances is the only loophole.
