<p>okay, this is a good place to throw in my question i’ve been thinking about for a while as well: my name is one of those impossible to pronounce, foreign names (latin american) - in fact, i can barely pronounce it the “real” way, and there are about 27 americanized versions of it. the thing is, i don’t like my middle name either… and have no idea what i would change my name to. i’ve never had any nicknames either because it’s not a very nickname-able name.</p>

<p>i don’t really want to post my name here but if anyone wants to bother giving me suggestions, i’ll PM it to you (with the closest phonetic spelling i can attempt, lol). thanks in advance!</p>

<p>I had them put a nickname on my orientation tag, so no one would call me by my “real name.”</p>

<p>If there’s a preferred name, go for it. :)</p>
