If you can talk to such a counselor, ask them how past applicants from your demographic have fared when applying to these schools with a 1510/3.85 GPA, and ask them the SAT scores/grades of the students who have been admitted in the past.
Unfortunately I’m unable to hire a private college admissions counselor/consultant, but I’ll ask my school counselor if she knows the stats of the few people from my school who have applied/been admitted to US universities in the past.
