Should I submit SAT or ACT scores?

Alright, well, it’s not really the SAT/ACT difference that I’m worried about. I think, in the end, my scores on the two will be pretty comparable. However, what I AM worried about is the 590 subject test. Will that hurt me even though Yale only asks for two (and my other two are fine)?

And I’m not sure about the Common App instructions, but here is a quote taken from the Yale College Admissions - Important Instructions on Test Score Reporting:

"Yale requires results from all of the SAT I and SAT II tests or all of the ACT tests you have taken. If you choose to fulfill our testing requirement with SAT scores, then it is not necessary to send any scores from the ACT, even if you have taken the ACT. And if you choose to fulfill the requirement using the ACT, you do not need to send us any SAT scores, unless you wish.

However, and this is important, if you elect to use the SAT scores, you must report all scores from all SAT exams (both SAT I and SAT II) that you have taken. If you elect to use ACT scores, you must report all scores from all ACT exams you have taken. And if you choose to use a combination of SAT and ACT results, we require that you report all scores from both agencies."

And another from their Standardized Testing page:

"Yale requires applicants to submit the following testing:

•The College Entrance Examination Board (CEEB) SAT I and any two SAT II Subject Tests

or

•The ACT with Writing"

And I have another related question as well. I was reviewing my SAT/ACT histories last night and realized that upon registering for the exams, I automatically had them sent to certain schools, Yale being one of them. So, my question is this: How does Yale go about reviewing scores? Can I still choose to self-report only SAT or only ACT scores on my application, so long as I report all scores from that agency? And then does Yale use my official score reports to confirm? Or must I now report ALL of my scores from BOTH agencies because they were sent automatically already?
