should I take pre-med classes at cc OR UC?

Both. There are about 10 classes that are required to apply to med school, most of them lower-division. If you transfer to a UC you are probably not going to have enough time to take all those classes in addition to the ones you’ll need for your major. On the other hand med schools are said to look a little askance at CC classes used to fulfill all the requirements, so it would be good idea to take some additional classes in the sciences at a UC to show that your good grades were not a fluke. What “some” means can be worked out with the premed advisors at your UC.

You might also want to post your question in the premed forum here.

If you aren’t already, you should become familiar with all the premed steps needed. Classes are just one part of it.
