Should this be an overall good 1st and 2nd semester freshman year schedule?

It could be a little heavy. You need to tell us the credits you bring in. Do you have credits for ENG W131, Econ E201, Math M118? There is no need to finish all GEN ED requirement in the 1st year. And, you should explore other fields than Music.

For your 1st semester:

  1. Take a look at other posts including IUBACC’s schedule (link below)
  2. Consider replacing Mus P110 with Mus Z 280.

It becomes very difficult to manage a double major in Kelley from Class 2016 on due to the addition of course requirement unless you have 4-5 AP/ACP courses with credits. You can’t afford taking unnecessary courses early on. Also, there are many interesting one credit courses in SPH you can take a look.
