@alibabba808, I was at The 1:30 performance yesterday and agree that they were fantastic! I’m not sure which one was your daughter, but they were all very talented and polished. As you said, it is a program that gets talked about very little here on CC, and that is unfortunate. It is very inexpensive, does a great job training students, and is well-thought of by people like Dave Clemmons and Telsey and Co. In fact, Telsey hosted a private performance of the UNC showcase just for Telsey agents. (I think Michigan is the only other school they do that for!).
Yes, it is a BA program but the only reason for that is because it is a state school and the state will not allow them to change it because two other nearby state schools already offer BFA. Because of this, they run their program very similar to a BFA. This BA distinction is also the reason that they are not an “official” unified school. To officially participate in unifieds a school must offer the BFA.
