<p>Don’t forget to visit Times Square while you are in New York City. I also highly recommend Century 21 shopping center in the Financial District in lower Manhattan near the WTC Memorial. Lots of good deals.</p>
<p>The MET takes too long. If you go to the MET plan on 2-3 days. Try The Empire State Building, Maybe Rockefeller center, and a walk through Central park.</p>
<p>I spent ~ 6 hourse at the met, mostly in the Dutch Masters exhibit and I think back on that experience often. I also wandered into some insanely high end stores around our hotel, which was across from Central Park. One place had waiters walking around with Dom Perignon on silver trays and every female shopper seemed to have an elegant dog on a diamond leash. I’ve never felt so out of place in my Dansko clogs and Northface. We did go to a Broadway show that night – Lion King – which I could have seen at home. Would have rather gone to hear live music in a club or something. </p>
