Smaller colleges with Big College Feel?

College of Charleston, FSU, Northeastern- Safetys
UMiami , Boston University, Syracuse, Fordham, Colgate, Tulane- Matches maybe slight reach
USC, BC, Vandy,Michigan, Occidental- Reach
Northwestern- Super Reach

Not really sure if those are all correct but seem ok to me, not really sure were Wake fits in…

University of Tulsa, the smallest D1 school.

Dude, you slipped up with FSU on your list (based on your specified criteria). Counting grad students, FSU has about 40,000 students. I’d suggest Clemson, TCU, Baylor, SMU, Wake, Boston College and Miami (as good matches). Go to the College Board website and play with their college finder program – it’s pretty good.

I just said FSU because I live in FL and it would be completely free

YOu should check out Tulane.

don’t know if you are a girl, but St. Mary’s is great because its a small school, but you get to enjoy all of the fun of Notre Dame.

I like SMU. Very much a big school feel but a smaller private college.

I also like the feel of SMU, but it is too conservative for me…

My sister graduated from there and loved it but its just not for me, looking for a more liberal school that is similar to SMU

If SMU is too conservative, take Baylor off the list. Probably TCU, too. Leave Tulsa on.

Check out Loyola New Orleans (next door to Tulane) as well. Your stats are a pretty good match.

Check out the schools in the Patriot League. All highly ranked academic schools and NCAA Division 1 athletics. Size 3000-4000 undergrad.
