My D was accepted to Smith today, what a surprise to receive the letter early! We live in Southern California. Congrats to others who also received early acceptance, and for those who haven’t heard yet - don’t worry there’s still time. We are rooting for you!
Just got my letter in the mail this morning! I live in Michigan. Based one what everybody here was saying I thought the time frame had already passed to receive one, but I guess not! Congrats and good luck to everybody
I am a little confused. Did RD acceptance letters come out early or are these all “likely” letters and not actual acceptance letters? It seems strange that only a small percentage of letters were sent. Does Smith send out snail mail acceptance letters in batches every year without email notification or portal update?
@jb98987 According to the letter they are actual acceptance letters sent to a select group of applicants.
really was hoping for a likely but didnt get one. hopefully will be admitted in the RD round. 
My daughter got a letter on Friday, telling her she was accepted! It said she will receive more information, including any financial award, on March 20. We are in NYS.
@jb98987 Yes, only a small percentage of acceptance letters are mailed in February as early writes. In mid-March, shortly before the release of RD results on the portal, the STRIDEs and Zollmans will get their snail mail letters informing them they won scholarships. RD results are released through the portal on a Friday in mid/late March; that day or the day before, printed admit letters are dropped off at the post office.

Any chance decisions will come out this week?
I am an international and i recently got an email asking if the mailing address on my portal is correct. Anybody else got this?
