Great choice! I had read this thread a few days ago- my D25 was deciding between some other colleges and Smith, and in the end chose Smith.
It was the “dark horse” candidate for her… we knew about MHC as we’d lived nearby for ~5 years when she was young and included both it and Smith on her college list. We knew of it as the smaller campus in the cooler city (IMO, MHC’s grounds are more classically pretty but Noho is vastly more fun that SH)-but we had only done a self-guided tour until she was admitted. The admitted students day really sold all 3 of us, and the fact that she was chosen as a STRIDE scholar was a huge plus.
