I never liked Joan. She was just mean and nasty, and I didn’t find her funny. I guess that’s bad form to talk about the dead, but would she even care?
I saw the parody as funny, yet I find the Toyota ad a bit offensive because selling cars by linking it to military service is foolish. I feel the same way about beer commercials, telephone commercials and countless others.
I also feel like ISIS was mocked in a way that wasn’t anti-Muslim for once.
The skit just got even funnier!!! I watched it again and the ISIS guys are in a new Crew Cab Toyota truck! I hadn’t noticed that before.
