<p>I suppose I should be more specific. Let us take some of the schools that I am looking at, for example. How about Duke, Penn, Brown, Cornell and Williams. A fairly diverse group of schools, in my opinion. I have looked on these schools’ websites and all of them give the middle 50% for the writing section (whereas Georgetown still does not). But this does not indicate very much. Is there any further information out there on how these specific schools weigh each section of the SAT? It doesn’t even have to be something you can link to on the internet, but maybe a conversation you had with an admissions officer, etc…</p>
