Being on time.
Math.
Planning vacations, like @momofsenior1! I love doing that.
Finding resources for my mentally ill son and my elderly parents.

Procrastinating
Remembering names
Foreign languages
Researching (but not always knowing when it’s time to stop)!
Finding the positive.
Supporting my kids.
Backing up into a parking spot (haha - it’s true!)
Writing and editing when needed.
List making.
My job. Running.
Irritating and getting on my kid’s nerves.
@MomofWildChild , I read that as “My job is to run!!” - sort of true?
Proofreading. My one and only natural talent.
Putting in Foley urinary catheters in people with difficult anatomy.
Hey, you asked.
Memorizing useless items. I can reel off world countries and AKC dog breeds. Not very useful. I am really good at vacation planning. I just need more vacations to plan…
@Nrdbs4, I wish you had been on duty after my husband had back surgery last year. Without going into detail, let’s just say that your superpower is exactly what he needed.
Sleeping. I am a GREAT sleeper.
I think I’m a great nurturer. I am the soft place to land for my kids, husband, family and friends. I’m also very good with my dogs. I train them well and keep them on a schedule.
I’m also a great typist. I can type as fast as people speak.
I’m excellent at procrastinating, but I’m never late with anything (e.g., appts, deadlines, taxes, etc)
Parallel parking. To the point that my friends will hand their cars over to me when we go out . Once I parked - one and done - on a busy street in downtown Seattle and the guy behind me applauded as he drove by .
Teaching. I am truly good at it. I develop rapport quickly with students and the difficult students tend to work for me because of it. I’m a special ed teacher and I’m really good at chunking and providing accommodations without realizing I’m doing it.
Paperwork. It goes along with teaching, unfortunately, however, I just realized not everyone excels at sitting down and getting it done. I am not working for the summer and sat down last week to catch up on medical claims that DH was supposed to be doing-yeah, he hadn’t. I had 17 of them done in less than an hour and he was in awe. It’s not exciting, but I am good at it.
Parallel parking! YES! I credit my Dad, but I used to drive one of those big vans for a daycare center and could parallel park that thing, so all cars seem super easy to me now.
Having come to Jesus talks with students during advising, sleeping, and wasting time on CC during summer break. Taking joy from a good book.
Baking.
Building community.
Event planning (especially weddings and swim meets)
Perceptual ability/spatial relationships
Making decisions
Dental injections. Exceptionally good. My practice attracts many fearful people for this reason.
@dentmom4 My endodontist has that skill as well. I wish every dentist would take the time and effort to master it. Thank you for doing so!
Research: Vacation, medical stuff, colleges, genealogy, contractors, etc. DH sees the forest, I see the trees and find the path.
Paperwork of all kinds. For some strange reason I enjoy it.
I’m really good at procrastinating. I need the adrenaline rush of a deadline.
