“Oceanography.”
I really like the ocean, but certainly didn’t enjoy learning about the sediment composition or things of that nature. I guess even if it’s in a place I like it’s still a rock and boring as hell.

Also his tests were super annoying and detailed, I’m going to be ****ed if I get a B since it’s not that hard of a course! Then I studied crazily for the final and he lowered the difficulty level WAY down. (which would screw up the curve) damn.

I missed 70 percent of the lectures which is really rare for me because I usually goto ALL lectures even if it’s boring as hell. Oh well.

Money and Banking…it focused way more on macroeconomics rather than finance, and didn’t even follow the book at all. There was no structure to the class, so pretty much all of us (around 20 juniors and seniors) were trying to figure out exactly what was going on. I hope to be able to get a B in there through the good graces of somehow doing really well on our project. Other than that, my overview of management was just a plain, boring class. It made me want to fall asleep.

depends on you i guess. if you’re an english major type of person you’ll do fine. i just lose it in classes like that and mine seems way too hard for an intro class.

modern brazil… i took it for fun because my family is from brazil so i was interested in the history, and becuase i like history in general. i didnt realize it was a 300-level with ALL seniros (im a soph). so im just not to their level in analyzing history/writing. prof lectured really disjointedly and if i hadnt had a little background in brazils history i wouldve been completely lost. one 300pg book per week, most of them didnt mesh well with the lectures. spent weeks doing useless group projects that noone paid attention too. final assignment is to wite 7-10 pages on anything, no assignment, just write on one aspect that we covered.

and the professor LIES. he promises to get papers back one afternoon like 4 weeks after they were due and well gt them back 3-4 days after that. took him 6 weeks to grade a simple 5 paragraph essay midterm.

Well, my drawing class I probably did the worst in just because I came to art school for metalwork and I am very much a 3D oriented person. I loved the teacher and really worked my ass off, I just could never get good grades in it. My 2D design class on the other hand I did fairly well in, but it killed me the entire semester just because of the sheer amount of time it takes to complete an assignment. Unfortunately the other class that really suffered was my Spanish class just because I couldn’t focus on it as much because of all the crazy studio classes. I feel bad about it but it’s my fault for taking on so much.

Economics. So boring. As long as I don’t blow the final, I will get an A. It’s not particularly hard. Microeconomic concepts are easy to understand after doing the reading. Macroeconomic concepts can get a little confusing, but if you just use your common knowledge and some critical thinking, you could cover most fo the macro stuff without even taking an econ class.

General Chemistry. Not only is it at 9am, but it’s been a really up and down class for me. First exam, I was 15 points ahead of the curve, then at the curve for the second test, then I get the best grade in the class on the last exam. I’m one of only 2 business students in the class and I’m competing with pre-meds on a B- curve. Fortunately I’m not taking the class next semester.

Quantum Mechanics. What was I thinking? I had the choice between Quantum Mechanics and Music Appreciation (both fulfilled the same requirement), and I thought, “this will be interesting; I should challange myself”.
