<p>As for the college being liberal, I feel that it’s an understatement. I’m from Florida (which is actually quite liberal is some parts due to the amount of people from New York and New England who moved) and I’ve always considered myself extremelly liberal. I’m originally from New York, and I’ve been considered more liberal than most of my family from New York. Yet when the election came around… You couldn’t say the name McCain without getting told a speech about why he’d be a terrible president. My roommate is from Vermont and she would talk straight through the debates about how his hair was terrible or he stuttered his words, etc etc. Several people would insult Florida to my face because we have a Republican governor.</p>
<p>Obviously that’s just my experience, but I really wouldn’t suggest this school to someone who would hate being in such a liberal environment.</p>
