Soldiers Face Neglect, Frustration At Army's Top Medical Facility

<p>there was a front page article about Walter Reed in the NYtimes yesterday, I think. The general who was in charge of the hospital (a West Pointer :frowning: ) was fired and replaced by another USMA grad. </p>

<p>As I understand, a few years ago Bush decided to close Walter Reed (I suppose in anticipation of few casualties from Iraq) , and so it has been a low priority for funding/maintenance/etc.</p>
