I did, because I did every official problem I could lay my hands on. They were definitely useful.

hey lolcats4,
is there more of any of other official practice tests or something else good i could find besides PR, sparknotes, and CB blue book?
not only that, is superconductivity, special realtivity, and chaos theory covered on SAT 2 physics? PR didn’t mention them.

Lolcats, what did you get on barrons chem tests? What about PR chem? And sparknotes? Thanks for the info

How do pr tests convert to cb? I got a 670- what would that be

ya, are PR tests harder or easier than CB? My 750 in PR is what in CB?

Bump anyone know?

what does bump mean…

^Bring up my post.

Az1698: There is some debate about PR tests vs the real thing. Most people agree PR is a big harder/about the same, though there are some who will tell you it’s too easy. Obviously, it’s impossible to know until you take the test for yourself, and even in that case your opinion isn’t always correct because the relative easiness of real tests depends on the testing date.

Thanks teenage.

does june have a reputation for giving out hardest phyiscs test or something like that?

But we can all safely conclude that Barron’s test are 100% HARDER than the real deal, correct?

yes Barrons is harder

Barron’s is not that much harder for chemistry I don’t think. Slightly, but not egregiously so.

for barrons review book, i both got mid-700’s for physics and chem…
will i be able to score high-700’s or even 800’s?

i have a question… I thought barrons had a pretty good curve… because i would get 750-800, and it was possible to get 800 with 10 omitted…

however ive been reading things, (i just took the chem SAT this morning) and now im kinda nervous…
some people said that you can only get 800 with 0-3 wrong?

and i thought barrons was ridiculously easy compared to KAPLAN

I will be taking the sat II physics test in October and I wanted to know which prep book or books I should buy.
I took physics one year ago but I don’t remember the material very well… so I wanted to know which prep book or combo of books is the most comprehensive and will give me most of the info I need to know! I have enough time to prepare so the only problem is getting the right sources.
By the way, thanks a lot for the great advice lolcats! It really helps!

I’m going all out with physics: Getting Barrons, PR, Kaplan, College Board…

Does Sparknotes have a book, because I don’t like to do it on the computer as I get easily distracted, lolz

Ohmygosh, thank you so much! I plan on preparing for both of these over the summer. : ] Yayyy, now I’m kinda motivated to get started… naw, not that motivated.

i know i asked b4, but i just want to confirm: is PR’s chem scoring scale more lenient than the actual test’s? (i think it’s 79-85=800)

and about PR not totally covering the math in chem, would adding barrons completely cover the math as well as the concepts?
