Sorry it is incorrect that dual enrollment classes only apply for colleges in your state. My daughter did two years of only dual enrollment and would have received credit in both pulbic and private schools out of state as well as in state. It is more that often dual enrollment classes are part of a community college system that state colleges in that state may have agreements to accept them. Other colleges may still accept them but you need to look at a college invididually - some actually have an online way to check what courses from specific colleges will transfer in and sometimes you need to talk to an admissions officer for information. However they will not guarantee anything until after you matriculate.
