Because USC is holistic in nature, no one on this forum can give you a concrete answer and instead, us ol’ timers refer students looking for “chances” to this thread linked below. That thread is as relevant today as it was when madbean started it. Just to give you some feedback—obviously your gpa is low fro a school with an 18% admission rate, and you haven’t taken tests yet. High school years tend to get harder not easier, particularly junior year, so to go from a 3.2 to a 4.0 the next three years seems pretty extreme. Just do your best. It is harder to chance someone on “their plans” versus actual results. The best advice is to not have a dream school, but have several that you could see yourself being happy at. USC is so selective, there are amazing 4.6 students with high scores and super ECs that don’t get in because of the holistic approach and it being so competitive, so have backup plans. Good luck!
