<p>Well…let me tell you about rec deadlines. Some sororities put very early dates - like June 1 - so they can encourage alumnae to go ahead and get them in, rather than waiting until Aug. 1. The volume of recs being e-mailed and snail mailed is staggering! But they will take them whenever they arrive, and sometimes you can’t get them in that early. I would not worry so much about a deadline right now as I would about finding connections for all 17 sororities.</p>
